I'm always looking at ways to add value to what our watch club provides, because I know the journey of a watch collector/enthusiast so well. And I figured, why not announce this weekend!

NO NO LIMITS?
Here's a little bonus surprise for you which adds up to $6,000 in watch value experienced in each year (and this applies to all existing and new members). When we launched the club, it was on the basis of offering as much value as could reasonably be created. We launched with a 9-watch limit per 12-month membership, when believing that would be the max number of watches someone could experience in a 12 month period based on the fact we run a "ship-back" vs. purchase opportunity on each watch. The reason for this was to allow the member as much time as they needed to decide whether a watch was a keeper or not (e.g. so we did not rush the decision).
This limit has also proved to be the most confusing aspect of our club, for new members, who still find it a little difficult to see the "why" for this. Over time it really got me thinking. Over the last 9 months in operation we have had some members lament this choice and I always knew it was a confusing nuance to the membership. e.g. "why" 9 instead of 8, 10, 12? So, as with everything about this club, I want members to be ever-more in total control of their own unique journey.
In this mode WE set the limit, but I recently started thinking... what if there wasn't a limit as such? What if we allowed up to 12 watches per year (e.g. one per ship window) and it was just up to the member how many or how few they got/shipped back? They can't get more than 12 per year because we only have 12 ship windows.
One very important caveat to be aware of here - There is no rollover of watches, no retro-fit, and no exceptions to this. So if you hit 9, or 10 in a 12 month period you don't get extra watches in the subsequent year's membership. Nor do you get more than one watch at a time. So, if you hit the 1-per-month frequency i.e. 12 total (one per ship window), cool! If you hit 8-9, you're still getting amazing value as members have done to date. BUT, if you want to maximize your value of membership you decide what holds that value best... Is it "more" watches (e.g. 12 per 12 months), or is it "experiencing" watches for longer before buying/shipping back.
However, the onus is on you, the member, to get watches shipped back as swiftly as possible. Please see the free returns shipping info above for how this impacts ship-back process and timescale. We can do so much with this, but it becomes messy if the ship windows are not adhered to or where members request special treatment outside of these parameters.
So, to clarify this. You can now get up to 1 watch per ship window on each plan up to a maximum of 12 per 12 months. Your membership fee each month allows you ACCESS to the watches, but it is your decision as to how many or how few you experience in a year.
